• Setting up of the orphanage SOS Children's Village at Singhaul, Begusarai and working very closely with the parent body SOS International to enhance the level of child welfare in India

• Setting up of Post Office at Ulao in 1950s when there were no telephones and letters were the sole means of communication

• Currently, Deva Foundation, the charitable arm of the group is working on an initiative to bring tribals in the main stream and reskilling of women through micro-financing of self help groups
