The Deva Family has a living history of giving back to the society. We have always been at the forefront in the field of education and child welfare.
SOS Children's Village, Begusarai was set up on the Anath Nidhi lands with the help of SOS Kinderdorf International. The children here are looked after in an unique way. There are individual houses with a respective house mother who looks after 8-10 children.
An additional 1500 poor children in the adjoining villages are being taken care of throughthe Family Strengthning Programme (FSP) by the way of school fees, uniform, meals, healthcare and most importantly by training the families to earn extra income through self help groups. With 14 such houses, about 140 orphan children are being taken care of.

Brahmadev Prasad Higher English (BPHE) School, Begusarai
This was setup to address the lack of higher education. It caters to over 1000 students from all stratas of the society.
1920
RD and DJ College, Munger
A substantial donation, valued at over ₹2 crores in today’s terms, was made to establish this school, which became the first intermediate college in Munger.
1927
Sri Ram Sumaran Anath Nidhi, Singhaul
An orphanage set up on 24 acres of ancestral land along with an yearly grant, helped the weaker section of our society and looked after over 6000 children till 2004.
1939
Jayanti Kumari (J.K) High School, Begusarai,
This was setup to address the need for higher secondary education facilities in the district. Currently over 1000 students are studing here.
1945
Basic School, Ulao
This was setup to address the lack of basic schooling facilities in Ulao village. It is now a full fledged primary school with over 500 students.
1954
Shri Savitri HIgh School, Ulao
This was initially envisaged as a girls school to encourage education of the girl child. It is now a co-ed school with about 800 children studying.
1970s
Empowering Communities
40 acres of land was distributed among the homeless and landless people.
1986
Primary School, Ulao
This was setup to address the growing need for primary schooling facilities in the village of Ulao. It now caters to over 200 students.
2004
SOS Children's Village, Begusarai
This was setup in association with SOS Kinderdorf International, an Austria based organisation to provide holistic care for orphan children.
